If you read the number of discussion posts on the subject of thin privilege and fat shaming and eating disorders that have been collected here, you’d know that I’ve already said this a number of times.
Making an awareness for fat discrimination, which is most prevalent to me as a fat person who created this space for discussion, doesn’t make anything into a contest. It’s bringing an awareness to something that is not widely acknowledged.
I get a lot of messages of this caliber and I understand that you want to make sure your voice, feelings, and experiences are heard and validated. They are. All bodies are good bodies. I say this over and over and over again. I don’t know how to make myself more clear.
