okay the thing that bothers me the most about the “triggered vs not triggered” argument is that they always forget that the term “triggered” doesn’t just mean triggering a panic attack, it can also mean triggering any type of behaviour, such as people who struggle with self harm, eating disorders, trich, etc. for example, if a pro-weight loss post or image triggers somebody to relapse an eating disorder, that is just as valid a trigger as somebody being triggered into a panic attack from the same image. it’s not a contest of who has it worse.
People are actually arguing about this? I mean, come on. Triggering content is triggering content, no matter what the specific situation is. Respect it.
