I am all for removing the word “normal” from my vocabulary - It pretty much doesn’t exist.

"Your body is only one aspect of your whole being"
body-peace:
“If only I were thin, I would be happy”
“If I were thin I would like myself; everything would be alright.”
If being overweight was the problem why do thin women hate their bodies as much as everyone else?
Why then, do thin women insist upon seeing fat where there is none?
The answer to reversing bad body image is realizing that your intrinsic value as a human being is not related...

Your size does not determine how well you cuddle.
anorable:
Or, we could try and stop fighting hate with hate by being accepting of every body type and acknowledging that any body is not your body to decide how well it does something. Skinny bodies should not be the enemy and neither should fat ones. The end is near!
I am (finally!) about to graduate and my Redefining Body Image installation is going to be on display as part of my senior exhibition. Hundreds of people will see it.
I want to thank all of you who have supported my project.
Photos and video of the final project will be coming very soon. Then it’s onto the next project!

pudgyfingers asked: I have more of a comment than a question. My recent thesis project was on the same topic of body acceptance, no matter what size, and it seriously makes my heart skip a beat when I see someone else out to do the same work (only much more eloquent!)
During my defense, I had one of my thinner friends crying because she too, has been the subject of body hatred from other people. She's a...
